Butane Gas
Butane gas bottles can provide the fuel to power commercial cooking appliances, gas stoves, portable fridges and heaters at outdoor events. The clean burning fuel can also be used for domestic central heating if a property has no space for an LPG tank.
Extra information
- Always store and use gas bottles in an upright position placed in a well-ventilated area.
- For residential properties up to 30kg of butane (2 x 15kg gas bottles) can be stored indoors, for example to use in portable gas heaters.
- Do not store gas bottles below ground level.
