AdBlue®

Suitable for all SCR systems, AdBlue is an effective and straightforward solution for reducing fuel emissions. This reliable diesel exhaust fluid is added to the SCR tank in diesel cars and heavy-duty vehicles. AdBlue complies with ISO 22241 standards and helps reduce harmful nitrogen oxide emissions from diesel engines. It is injected into the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system, where it transforms toxic nitrogen oxide into harmless nitrogen and water vapour.

Storage shelf life

The shelf life of AdBlue depends on storage conditions; it is recommended to store in a cool place, away from direct sunlight to maintain its quality where it can keep for up to 12 months.

The warmer the storage conditions are, the shorter the life expectancy of your AdBlue. At the opposite end of the spectrum, freezing conditions shouldn’t be a problem. If it does freeze, you should be able to use it once it has thawed out.
